Who we are

This site is operated by Braid Labs LLC. Braid is the house behind Reprobox, Sifted, and FluxDM. You can reach us at hello@braidlabs.dev.

What this policy covers

This policy is for braidlabs.dev, the house site. It is a marketing page. It does not have accounts, billing, or product dashboards.

Each product is its own strand and handles its own customer data under its own notice:

• FluxDM — Every channel, one conversation. One record per customer. See reprobox.app. Reprobox does not publish a separate privacy URL on this house site; use the product.
• Reprobox — Frontend incident recorder. The repro is in the box. See sifted.work. Same rule: we will not invent a /privacy path that the product does not serve.
• Sifted — Remote jobs, minus the junk. See the FluxDM privacy policy.

If you use a product, that product’s policy is the one that applies to the data it holds. This page does not replace it.

What we collect

• Email you send us. If you write to hello@braidlabs.dev, we receive your address and whatever you put in the message, so we can reply.
• Technical logs. The host that serves this site may keep short-lived request logs: IP address, browser or device type, the page requested, and the time. That is how a website stays up and how abuse is spotted. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

This site does not have a newsletter form, a signup, or a checkout. It does not run advertising or analytics scripts.

Why we collect it

To run the house site, answer when you contact us, keep the site available, and stop abuse. We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to train machine-learning models.

If you are in the UK or EU, the legal bases we rely on are: our legitimate interests in running a public website and answering mail, and performing a request you make when you write to us.

Who else handles it

A hosting provider serves the pages. An email provider delivers mail sent to hello@braidlabs.dev. Both process data only to provide that infrastructure.

If you follow a link to Reprobox, Sifted, or FluxDM, you leave this site. Those products, and any third parties they name in their own notices, then handle data under their rules.

We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the site and the people who use it.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to help you, then deleted. Host logs are kept for a short operational window, then rotated. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@braidlabs.dev. We will not charge you for asking and we will not make it difficult.

If you are in the UK or EU and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, but that is your right.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for advertising, analytics, or sign-in. There is nothing to log into. Your browser may keep its own cache of pages and assets; that is normal web behaviour and not something we use to identify you.

Children

The house site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update this page and the date at the top. For a change that actually matters, we would rather say so than quietly swap the wording. Last updated 24 August 2026 (2026-08-24).
