Remote job boards rot in a familiar way. First they list roles. Then they sell boosts. Then every listing is “urgent,” every company is “disruptive,” and the person looking for work is wading through ads dressed as jobs.

Sifted is the opposite bet: remote jobs, minus the junk. It is a board. It is supposed to stay a board.

If the listing cannot survive without a boost, it probably should not be on the board.

What Sifted is for

Sifted is for people who want remote work and are tired of sorting the pile themselves. The site is sifted.work. The promise is curated roles and less noise, not a new identity system for your career.

It does not need to be a social network. It does not need to be a CRM. It needs to be a list you can trust enough to open on a Monday.

What we will not claim from the house

This note is from Braid, the house, not from a Sifted admin panel. We will not invent applicant counts, placement rates, or a marketplace that is not on the site. If Sifted grows a feature, Sifted’s own site will say so.

Why it belongs next to Reprobox and FluxDM

The three products in this house do not share a user. A frontend team opening a Reprobox session is not the same person skimming remote roles, and neither is running a business inbox. That is the point of a house: related standards, separate rooms.

Sifted’s standard is editorial. If a role looks like junk, it should not get a costume. It should get cut.
